Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Policy explains what Woopo collects, why, and your rights. We aim to collect only what we need to run the store and your account.

1. What we collect

Account: email, username, and (optionally) a profile picture.
Purchases & licenses: which plugins you own, prices paid, and payment status (card details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store them).
Devices: a per-machine identifier used to enforce the activation limit and verify licenses.
Your content: reviews, wishlist, and presets you save.
Diagnostics: if you leave crash reports on, error details (message, stack, app version, platform) and demo-download events for developer analytics.

2. How we use it

To run your account and library, verify licenses, process payments and developer payouts, show developers aggregate sales analytics, fix crashes, and provide support. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers

Stripe: payments and payouts.
Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage that host the service.
Resend: transactional email (e.g. sale notifications), if enabled.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms; data may be stored on servers outside your province or country.

4. Your rights (incl. Québec Law 25 / GDPR)

You can access and export all data we hold for you, and permanently delete your account and data, directly from your Account page. You may also contact us to exercise these rights or to correct your information.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data; limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Local storage

The desktop app stores a login session and a device identifier locally on your computer so you stay signed in and your licenses keep working offline for a limited grace period. It does not use advertising trackers.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no method is perfectly secure. Keep your password safe.

8. Children

Woopo isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
