MIDIc 1.2.3: A Full Piano-Roll Editor, Right in the Plugin
MIDIc turns any audio into MIDI in seconds, drop in a vocal, a guitar riff, a piano take, or a hummed melody and get clean MIDI you can drag straight into your project. The one thing you used to need your DAW for was cleaning up the result. Not anymore.
MIDIc 1.2.3 adds a full piano-roll editor right inside the plugin, and it works just like FL Studio's.
Edit notes without leaving MIDIc
- Draw a note, click an empty spot, and drag to set its length.
- Move a note, drag its body to change pitch and timing.
- Stretch a note, drag its right edge.
- Delete, right-click it.
- Undo anything with Ctrl+Z.
Turn on Quantize and every note you place or move snaps to the grid.
Zoom like a real piano roll
Hold Ctrl and scroll to zoom in on the timing; hold Ctrl + Shift and scroll to make the notes taller. Zoom right in for precise edits, or back out to see the whole song.
X-Ray: see the pitch energy
Toggle X-Ray to reveal the pitch energy behind the notes, a spectrogram-style view that shows exactly where the sound sits. A bright band with no note over it is one MIDIc missed; a note sitting on darkness is one to remove. Now you can spot it and fix it on the spot.
